reduce core body temperature and refresh players allowing them to
avoid heat related problems and get back in the game. Athletes emerge
from the COOL CAPE after just a few minutes refreshed and ready
to go again. A revolutionary new product, the COOL CAPE is more
effective than passive cooling methods.
Humans regulate body temperature in a variety of ways and cooling
happens through conductance, convection, evaporation and respiration.
The most effective methods are evaporation, respiration and convection.
Contact conductance (such as wrapping players in icy towels) is
the least effective way to quickly reduce body temperature. The
COOL CAPE effectively uses evaporative cooling while surrounding
the body with cold, dehumidified air. The COOL CAPE's hoses direct
and force air to strategic areas where blood flow is high, the neck,
kidney area and back.
The cape and its hoses store easily in the mobile cabinet. Simply
plug it in (110V), attach the hoses to the cape and you are ready
