SCHOOL
HEALTH CORPORATION EXPANDS ITS HEALTH EDUCATION RESOURCES
HANOVER,
PARK, Ill.--Finding information about health conditions
that affect children just became easier for school nurses. School
Health Corporation has expanded its product line and will now distribute
educational materials produced by a division of Children's Health
System of Milwaukee. The addition of these materials emphasizes
School Health's continuing efforts to champion its commitment to
health care education.
The expanded education line will include books, CD Roms, videos,
manuals and training tools not easily found in the school health
market. The products will be included in the "Health Education"
section of School Health's newly designed 2001 Catalog. The catalog
is scheduled for release in January. The educational materials will
also be found at School Health's healthgiant.com Web site, beginning
in 2001.
"This collection of educational materials greatly expands our
ability to provide school nurses and other health professionals
with the tools they need to help children remain in schools,"
said Susan Rogers, president of School Health Corporation. "Clear,
relevant and effective health communication can also decrease health
care costs, improve patient care and enhance the well-being of individual
students-and even entire communities."
The product
line includes educational information on domestic violence, sudden
cardiac arrest, asthma, diabetes, epilepsy and sickle cell anemia
to name just a few. All of these materials are produced by Maxishare,
a division of Children's Health System of Milwaukee.
